The team of professors and instructors
Delta Intercontact teaches basic courses in practical communication, communicative
grammar, and Russian lexics and phonetics for all levels of study, as well as
professional language courses for specialized and professional communication.
Dr. Elena Tolkacheva and Olga Kashevarova are our most honored professors. Larissa
and Kirill Frolovy are our young specialists.
With great pleasure we invite Dr. Marina Oborina, professor at the Tver State
University, Department of Linguistics and Intercultural communication, to give
translation seminars. The following courses are available: Introduction to Russian
Communication, Practical Translation, and Text Interpretation and Analysis.
Specialists in various fields of these subjects are also contracted.
Dr. Svetlana Gorshkova, a specialist in the history of literature, Russian
folklore, ritual hermeneutics, and Silver Age poetry, has developed her own
unique program of introduction to Russian literature for beginners, as well
as a program for advanced students.
Dr. Anatoly Gurin conducts introductory seminars in the history of Russian
culture and Russian area studies. The seminars are designed for students of
different levels and academic and professional interests. Courses are offered
for students of both academic and intensive programs. Delta Intercontact also
provides guided research programs for students and researchers of various aspects
of Russian culture and history.
Dr. Irina Alyoshina from the Tver State University will reveal the modern
political trends and explain their roots. Political Studies entail courses in
modern political history and Russian philosophy.
